We have changed the service providor for managing our online donations. Please use the link above to go to our new site.
That page says that there is a 4.75% charge for making an online donation. Why is that?
Accepting online payments is actually a very expensive service. This percentage is less than with our old service providor, where we had to spend a significant portion of the online donations we received to support the process of accepting online donations. Network for Good also gives you the choice to either have this processing fee taken out of the total, or you can add the processing fee to your total.
Is there any way to not have to pay this fee?
Not with an online donation, but we gladly accept cash or check donations in person or by mail at the address above.
Does this fee change the amount I can deduct on my taxes?
Whether you choose to add the processing fee, or have it taken out of the total, 100% of the total amount is tax-deductible.
